About ITC Therapy

Today more and more people struggle at some point in their lives to cope with the ever-increasing pressures that befall them. These pressures can be from home life, the working environment or just from our own internal feelings and thoughts that we just cannot cope.

There are many schools of therapy and all try to help people through these difficult times. Like many things these day the need for fast cures to our problems, so that we can get on with life, is one of many factors influencing our need for effective therapy treatment.

It is recognised through many studies that therapy does not always have to be long and drawn out and may in some cases be effective in only a few treatment sessions.

Martin is a senior accredited member of the BACP and the NCS, a life member of the Open University Psychological Society and a senior lecturer in psychotherapy at Nottingham Trent University. He has been a trainer for over 35 years and in clinical private practice as a psychotherapist for over 20 years.

He draws from a range of therapeutic theories and approaches including the third wave CBT model of ACT – Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy approaches together with use of Clinical Hypnosis, Time line therapy and Mindfulness.

With a solution focused therapeutic approach progress can often be swift and effective; helping with recovery from anxiety, depression, stress, addictive behaviour, panic attacks, phobias, traumatic memories and post traumatic stress disorder. What ever your concern may be, you can work through it with help and guidance.

Take advantage of a therapist, trainer and supervisor with a broad range of skills and experience who believes all approaches have their strengths but no one school of thought has all the answers.
